Thank you to all who came to walk with us on Memorial Day! We got inspired this year to have a float for next year and more banners. We also want the Children in MOPPETS help design the float for next year’s parade!!!
The Summer Study Group has began. We will meet
in the room opposite the kitchen. Please contact me about childcare if you
have not already done so.We will be looking at Oswald Chambers book titled, "My Utmost for His Highest". No bible knowledge required, come try it once and see what you think.
Please return your registration forms to Colleen. They are available on the Website. We do fill up and are expecting an increase in moms next year so please return your forms ASAP, especially if you need childcare!!
Did you know that over 100 women meet at St. Paul's on Thursday mornings?? What for ?
Community Bible Study (CBS). Registration is going on now.
CBS is a nationwide bible study (not affiliated with MOPS or St. Paul's).
Welcome to women of all ages and church denominations. CBS meets September through May (2007-2008) on Thursday mornings 9:30 - 11:30. The morning includes opening time music and speaker, lesson time with core group, and group lecture on weekly lesson.
Childcare is available (not just babysitting) -- age appropriate bible classes.
$20 registration fee plus approx $2 week for lesson materials.
No bible knowledge necessary! Many MOPS moms are involved in this group too.
Have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you in the fall! Come Dwell well with MOPS next year as our theme will be the HOME factor... creating a cocoon of home.
MOPS International is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, and experiencing God’s love through relationships and resources.
MOPS offers not only childcare for little ones, but “mom-care” for Moms. Once her children are settled, the MOPS mom joins a program tailor-made to meet her needs. She can eat a lovely breakfast (and not have to share it!), and she can engage in adult conversation!
A MOPS morning includes a speaker who will inspire moms in topics relating to womanhood, marriage, child-rearing and relationships from a Biblical perspective. Discussion follows in small groups where each mom is free to share her joys and struggles with other moms who truly understand. Finally, a craft time promotes a sense of accomplishment through creative expression.
Meanwhile, the MOPPETS program provides loving, quality childcare for infants through age six. Moms can relax as their little ones are having fun in age-appropriate classrooms of their own. A MOPPETS morning is filled with stories, songs, snack, playtime and lots of love!
MOPS helps mothers recognize that when they take time to meet their needs, they are more effective in meeting the needs of their families.
MOPS meets at St. Paul’s Church every other Wednesday, from 9:15am – 11:30am.
